Analog signal to digital conversion?

Can we reverse the process?
i.e. get back the original analog signal using the digital one? How?
Please explain in basics and give practical examples.

Yes, you can reverse the process, but the output analog signal will never be an exact copy of the original. With good converters it will be close, but it will never be exactly correct. You convert a digital signal to an analog signal with a — guess what — a D-A converter.
But I don't understand your A-D process. A square wave contains no information, neither digital nor analog. I suspect you are talking about possibly a pulse width modulation, or some other similar.
A square wave has always the same amplitude and same frequency.
