how do I change digital pics from raw to fine on a sd card?

Depending on the camera, you may have to have your computer do the converting to JPG files. The camera probably came with a software CD that has the appropriate utililty, if not, check the camera maker's web site.

Canon's utility is called "Digital Photo Professional" Try their website….there might be a download available.

The software Cd's that came with your camera will have a utility that will convert raw to tiff or jpeg. If not check the website of the manufacturer to get it.
I always shoot in raw and convert to tiff. Raw files contain the most digital info and are not compressed. If you plan on doing any editing stick with raw. Jpeg will degrade the more you do with it. The biggest problem with raw is that the files are significantly larger that jpeg files.
If you want to shoot in Jpeg fine check the menu on your camera and select the picture quality button. Then select fine.

You can not do that. RAW mode is unprocessed data captured by the camera. The only way to convert these images is to use software to save the images in a different format. The software that came with camera should work. Here's an article on more about using RAW, http://photo.net/learn/raw/
