Getting pictures from my digital camera to the computer….Please help!?
Posted on May 28, 2008 under Digital news and reports |Ok…so i know you plug in the cord to the camera and the moden thingy…but my problem is i dont know if its actually transferrig the pictures or not!…
All that happens is on my camera says "processing…" and then it turns off by itself after a few minutes…nothing pops up on the computer and i cant find the pics anywhere! Is there something wrong w/ it..am i missing something…….my computer if kinda old..could that be why…………
um…there is nothing like that on "my computer"…. is something supposed to "pop-up" when its done downloading?

After you plug your camera to the computer go to My computer. Then go to where it says removable drive or something like that. There's probably a couple folders your pics should be in there somewhere

Easiest thing to do would be to purchase a memory card reader that plugs into the usb port of your computer. Just make sure that the card reader supports the type of memory card your digital camera uses. If the camera only uses internal memory then disregard everything I've just said.
I would then contact the manufacturer of the camera and have their support team walk you through the process. Before you call though, have some information about your computer handy just in case they ask. Information such as which windows version you are using, Windows 2000, XP or Vista. It is possible that the software that came with the camera is incompatible with your computer in which case you might have to download a compatible version from the camera manufacturer's website. Like I said though, their tech support team should be able to walk you through it. Good Luck!
