What settings should I use to take digital photos so that I can make them poster size?

What settings do you use for enlarging digital photos to poster size? Black and white photos that are poster size is what i am trying to achieve?

  1. here's a tiny little trick I learned years ago. its a secret though….

    Take your image at the highest setting possible to begin with. Bring the image into photoshop. Now enlarge the image by 10% (110 total) over and over and over. By doing it in small incriments you can enlarge the image to as large as you need and never loose quality. Pretty cool huh?
