in electronics, analog uses variation of voltage (or current) as a parametric representation of the information to be conveyed. digital represents these variations as a binary coded sequence of pulses. the big problem with analog is that random noise easily corrupts the purity of the signal. the big advantage of digital is the coding can include data compression algorithms, ie JPEG photos, MP3 audio, MP2 video so that the file size/data bandwidth is greatly reduced when compared to the equivalent analog representation.
We guess in the meantime i’ll be happy with book-marking and also incorporating your own Feed for you to my personal Search engines account. My partner and i look ahead to new revisions and definately will talk about this blog using my personal Myspac…

Analog can be a wide spectrum of values, like if you're talking about electrical signals, an example would be any value between 4 and 20 mA.
Digital can only be one of two values - 1 or 0, on or off.

An analog clock has a minute and hour hands.
A digital clock has numbers on a screen.
Here's more about the difference between analog and digital.
