Programs to increase digital photo size without pixalation?
Posted on Jul 29, 2008 under Digital news and reports |I have a lot of thumbnail photographs of my and my family I'd like to put on my myspace. They are digital photos, and they don't even need to be huge, just big enough to make out faces and such.
I am looking for a program that is either free, or has a free trial because I am sick of wasting my money on programs that do not do what I need of them (hints, why I'd like a trial first)

there are limits, like the yahoo icons here are low resolution and small, so there is no detail to improve image, like a black dot ■ of one pixel, will still be black dot █ of ten pixels,
the opposite for images that are large and higher quality images of 20 megapixel cameras and raw format, the space in one dot can then have ten pixels with several colors▒ , and can be made smaller ▦ for print with same details,
so with editors better than paint, you can try opening image, and resize image 200% and adjust resolution dpi 200% as well,

try photofiltre first, if not quite good enough, then try others,
