What is the best digital camera to buy while on a budget and are relativly new to the photography world?
Posted on Jul 29, 2008 under Digital news and reports |I'm on a budget of about 150 dollars to about 200 dollars so, i'd like to know what camera would be great. I've heard Canon PowerShots and things like that but, i want something thats sleek, maybe a little bit of color, good batery life, and good resolution. I dont want one of thoose cheep, pay 20 dollars and you get a bulky piece of crap off the rack. I want something good…something thats easy to find as well.

how about sony cybershot DSC-S780 digital still camera 8.1 megapixels 3x optical zoom high sensitivity iso 1250 2.5 lcd monitor with face detection 180$$ thats what we have and its great its rechargable:)

The A590 (post below) is a great camera too. But it has the larger body size. Also, that kit is not sold by Amazon directly, but by Cameta. Not sure what that means for returns or warranty…

I am using Nikon D60 right now. I have used P&S cameras before including the most good camera i ever came across. thats Canon S5 IS. The price is below 200$ I guess.

Hi,
I really like my PINK Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80. I highly recommend it to you for many reasons. This is a great camera for its price. This might be the best choice for its class because it provides IS (image stabilization for shaky hands and moving objects: anti blur), 2.5 inch LCD, 7.2 megapixels and 3x optical zoom.
Moreover, this is very handy, tiny and light camera that you can carry in your pocket without feeling it.
Menus and settings are very easy and clear. Some tips appear on the screen when you are using different modes, it is very helpful.
The picture is PERFECT! I took some really amazing shots with this camera - they were awesome! I highly recommend if you are looking for a small, amazing camera that you purchase this one.
