What would be a better choice: Graphic Design or Digital Art? I am talking about money..?

I would go with what you like the most! I'm sure you could find varying salaries for either job.
But if you want to have fun as you work, go with what you are passionate about.

Why do you have to choose? Can't you do both? What do your instructors or professors have to say? Surely they know grads who have/have not been able to get jobs. Try to do internships in either or both while you're still in school. That's the best plan.

Out of these 2, graphic artists make around $66,000 a year thats a base salary.i also want to be a graphic designer and do web design but well see… graphic design with web design better jobs if u get both… i may have other plans. But also look into web design you can make alot of money doing that… they make about $71,000 a year…

Depends on what you mean by digital art. if by that you mean digital animation, then definitely as unfortunately Graphic designers are in abundance and hence supply and demand laws dictate lower pay as so many. Having said that REALLY good graphic designers are paid well and never short of work.
it also depends on how good you are on the computer. You'll need a Mac not pc, and graphics uses Adobe programmes like Illustrator, Photoshop plus freehand & Quark Xpress. Animation uses 3D programmes like Director, which also add sound and motion to the mix and hence more complicated.
Get on a good degree course, don't know where you are so can't advise you there.
HOWEVER! All that said, art and design are about skill and passion, love for what you do. In the art world if you chose based on wages you may find yourself out of work because you're not a natural talent in that area. Better to be a brilliant graphic artist that an average digital artist/animator!
Also for work/life reasons, take it from one who knows, do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life
