Why are the pictures taken on my Kodak digital camera covered with vertical blocks of color?
Posted on Jul 29, 2008 under Digital news and reports |About two weeks ago, my camera started making these lines and blocks over the top of the images taken with the camera. I have dropped the camera many times, but can't remember dropping it right before this started happening. Also, it does not do it to every picture and I have noticed if I shake the camera a little it will clear up and sometimes stay clear long enough for me to take a picture. I just want to know if there is something that I can do to fix it or if I should just buy a new camera. It is about two and a half years old. Thank you!!!

iv had 2 Kodak digital cameras, the 1st the lens just stoped opening and the second did the same thing that ur talking about. sometimes these problems dont happen till later tho so.. i would suggest buying a new camera (not a Kodak digital one lol)
depending on what ur going to be doing with it id say look at the "Sony dsc - h2" its a great all around camera and iv been using it for about 2 years now. a little over $200 at wal-mart
