digital media prices?
Posted on Jul 31, 2008 under Digital news and reports |Why is it that the cost of the right to download digital media from online merchants like i-tunes, amazon, etc is not that much lower than purchasing the physical cd? I mean computer storage space is cheap and getting cheaper, we aren't paying for any of the manufacturing costs of the stuff, why isn't it priced accordingly?

Don't have manufacturing material, packaging, transportation and retail rent to pay, including retail salaries
