Downloading pictures onto computer from digital camera?
Posted on Jul 31, 2008 under Digital news and reports |Okay, I asked this question before, here it is again because people gave me answers like use the software & connect the usb cord to the camera::
I have a Vivitar ViviCam 8400 digital camera. I cannot get pictures to download. I supposively downloaded the driver for it, but I cannot locate it. It told me to restart for it to work, so I did and nothing. I cannot figure out how to get these pictures off the camera and on to the computer. Any ideas or help?
Serious answers only please and thank you ahead of time.
I do not have the original software, but it has been done before but I just cannot remember how my family member did it and they dont't either, also it says cannot connect to the camera. I just need another way of doing this or any good info I can be given. I have the camera connected to the computer. It detected new software, but did not find it, etc…

what OS are you using?? I bet it is Vista.
Plug the camera in. double click My Computer, your camera sould show up as a storage device. Explore it for your photos.
