What makes a good digital camera?
Posted on Aug 29, 2008 under Digital news and reports |I have no idea, and I’m really a novice, so help is really necessary. Also what would a good camera cost? I don’t mean like anything professional, I’m far from that, but I need a decent one. Any help is appreciated!!! Thanks!
Also, I am thinking I will be doing alot of landscape shots, if that has anything to do with it, lol.

This is what I tell friends and family. Stay with a reputable brand. Ex. Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc. Think about what features you like. Mega-Pixels, screen size, rechargeable batteries vs regular batteries, video capabilities, type of storage card. Other consideration: Do you like the way it looks, it’s shape, how it feels holding it, etc. There are Sooo many to choose from, so take time to think about it.

Well, everyone has their own opinion on what a good camera is. Ask yourself these questions:
How much can you afford?
Do you need something small, or do you not mind lugging around a big bulky camera?
What kinds of things will you be shooting? Is it just for snap shots of family and friends? Will you need a lot of zoom?

when you are looking for a camera i suggest keeping a couple things in mind. The brand,Kodak or Fuji are what I have I love them look for macro feature, for small details. If you are doing landscaping shots you want to get the highest mega-pixell you can afford, if you take nice shots you can enlarge them and not lose anything with the right camera.I like to use rechargeable ”AA”batteries Also a camera that takes a SD card
as that seems to be the most popular I have a flat screen TV that you can view your pics from your SD card. That is just some things i would look for.If you are just starting stick to something simple the kodak easy share is great, I have one of those.I bought a few as gifts for people, very easy to use and not overwhelming with buttons and menus
Costs is about $100.00. good starting point.
Hope this helps

Since you are taking pictures of landscapes, you might want a camera with wide angle lens such as Canon SD870,Fujifilm F100fd,Sony Cyber-shot W170,Panasonic Lumix FX-37 and so on…
