I am trying to download pictures from my digital camera to my PC. When I go to start the download, I get a message box that says “Camera or Scanner in Use, please try again later”. I was able to download pics earlier today, what’s going on? I have a Canon A80 camera and an HP Pavilion PC.
There is nothing else hooked up.

My Canon Powershot SD870 IS has about a cm distortion near the side of it’s LCD screen. Besides that, the camera is fully functional.
Is there any way that I can fix it myself? I’ve read that you can replace the screen on older models.

We are using Time Warner digital phone line. Our fax machine is not old, but it is analog. After months of working on it, I finally got the DSL filter hooked up, and the fax was working. We had phone line problems and the tech came by to fix it–when I wasn’t here. He unpluged my work and can’t remember how I go it to work. Has anyone had this problem before?
Thanks for all the super techican responses. That info is way over my head! All I know is I DID use a DSL filter and myabe a phone splitter. I think it was at the base of the phone line, maybe to the box Time Warner gave us. I spend months and on-line time and finally fixed it. Then the Time Warner guy came and hubby forgot to watch what the repair guy did. I also had a phone line splitter, and can't remember if I used it either. They were both on the floor when I went to vacumn.

Will they let you bring digital cameras in the Kool Haus, and if they see that you have a digital camera will they take it away?
On the website it says: No cameras, except disposable type.
Should I go ahead and bring my digital camera, or should I buy a disposeable one?
Its my first time there and I was wondering what to do.

I need help choosing a digital camera. My old camera would not shoot well in the dark and photos were often blurry, especially if they were of moving objects. So those are two of my big concerns. Besides that, I want a small-to-medium-sized camera, priced below $500, that’s not extremely hard to figure out how to use. The memory card should have decent space (or the camera should have the ability to have a larger memory card). I definitely want my camera to be video-capable also. And it would be great if the batteries didn’t suck. Other than that, I’m not really sure what I’m looking for. Even if your suggestion doesn’t fit this description perfectly, give it if it’s a great digital camera. Thanks!
I've been looking at Canon PowerShots. Are they good? And which one(s) do you recommend?
