We have an HP digital camera and energizer rechargeables. We can't even take 3 pics w/o the batteries dying!
That's funny those energizers arfe the ones we use! How long should a pair of recharg. batteries last? Like how many charges?

i have a canon powershot digital camera and just recently broke the screen when i dropped it. when i turn the camera on, the screen appears to be white, with what looks like shattered glass where it got hit. when it's off it looks like there are internal cracks. it still takes pictures but you can't see it on the screen. is it possible to get it fixed? if so how much would it be and where?
PLEASE HELP! thanks in advance.

I don't know how many GB I would need? I'll need it for a bunch of different things. I'd need it to take pictures of animals at the zoo and in the wild, so I'd need the maximum zoom. I'd also use it for family pictures, and pictures of my pets, so it needs to take pictures in motion. I need a big capacity for pictures (my current one hold 24). And hopefully doesn't drain batteries in 5 minutes. And can someone explain exactly what 1GB, 2GB, etc, does? I don't even know HOW to look for a good camera

I just bought 2 Insignia Digital Converter boxes. I have 3 tvs at home and they all run on indoor antennas all different brands. The Tvs all pick up signals and they arent weak either. The problem I am having is that the converter boxes wont pick up any channel from the middle and bottom floor but the tv that is on the most top floor will pick up every channel. Does anyone else have this problem? As time comes will the digital signals get stronger and I will actaully be getting channels Digital style?

I have been looking for -ages- and all I seem to get are mixed reviews.
My price range is 100-300USD for a good camera.
I need Image Stabilization, a decent Macro Feature and ABOVE ALL ELSE HIGH QUALITY IMAGES IN POORER LIGHTING. Indoors and the like. I will be using it for closer face shots and family photos for sharing online.
I have have searched all over the place and I have started looking into Canon SD1000 and I was recommended Canon SD870. SD1000 does not have Image Stabilization though, and the main reason why I'm looking at canon so much is because there are so many to chose from it's hard to widen my search even further by searching for other brands! (I've spent so much time just comparing Canon)
I'll accept any brand though, as long as it has HIGH quality pictures at 100% resolution. Compact digital cameras only. Smaller the better.
Zoom not a priority, most images will be shot without zoom in an low ISO like 80.
