I need to map a ranch in south america, just a simple map with the distances between outter limits. I’ve been checking the available GPS equipment.but the more I check the more lost I get.
I don’t want to blow my budget on expensive equipments which I perhaps wont use more than twice, but I want to be able to transfer my readings to the computer and make a simple map.
Can anyone provide some light there? I have checked all garmin products but they talk more about already existing maps and not getting lost in trekking than creating maps, plus they dont seem to come with a software capable of transfering the digital readings and displaying them in a pc. (I just see street map software)

I went to a film festival last night, and the movie I worked on was shot with a Sony FX1 HD 1080 camera, and I have to say the footage was not all that impressive, it looked like a home video. Two other films I watched looked like real film productions you see in holloywood, everything looked amazing. (I don’t know what camera they used)
So why did the sony film look like crap, was it the filmmaker or the camera? Did the other films look better because of the camera used?
I’m looking to buy a camera, I was thinking of getting that sony fx1 hd, but now I’m leaning towards the canon xl2 because if the lens and filters can be changed. Can anyone give me some insight on what makes a good camera…any links to videos made would be nice.

I was wondering if the digital tests are just as affective as the normal ordinary test. just because sometimes on the normal tests you can get a very very faint line. Does anyone know if digitals work the same or would you need a lot more of the pregnancy hormone in your system to come up?
I like the digital ones better as well. They are more expensive BUT at least I'm not playing the "Am I going blind" game and turning the stick in every angle looking for a faint line haha.

I have never used a digital camera and am interested in purchasing one. Someone told me to get an 8 MP or higher. I want to keep to cost at $200 or less. Also, how does that memory card thing work? Do you need to purchase a memory card too? Does that last forever? I am behind in the times on digital cameras so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I’m going to buy a digital camera..what are some things to look for?
I want it to take good pics. (of course)
I want it to be able to hold at least 30 pics. at a time
I want it to be able to record for at least 10 min.
I also want to be able to put it on a little DVD (whatever thats called)
I just need help to see what all this means that I should be looking for.
Megapixels, gigabites, etc… I have NO clue what all that means
