I know I could burn it to a DVD but I have no DVD recorder…so I don’t think that’s still an option. So it there any kind of cord/adapter thingy or something (excuse the lack of technical knowledge/ lingo) I could plug into the camera and straight into the computer? The camera has no S-video connection only once audio and one video port. and that’s it as far as i can tell. It’s a Sony video 8 XR CCD-TRV215 1998 model

the instructions correctly,when i go 2 plug the usb cable in,all i get is a message saying its not responding and it freezes,can anyone help?

I need some help! My manager would like me to figure out a way to take recordings from a digital voice recorder and have them automatically transcribed using computer software.
Currently, we use a small tape recorder to record meetings, but we’d like to EITHER:
1) Upgrade to a digital recorder (so that we don’t have to use tapes any longer!) that has automatic transcription capability
OR
2) find a software that will accurately transcribe recordings that we make on our current tape recorder.
I’ve read some online buzz about Nuance Dragon, and have seen that Olympus has two models of digital voice recorders (ds-5000 and ds-5000id) that apparently record and transcribe. Does anyone have any experience in using any of these methods? Any feedback would be GREATLY appreciated!

He wouldn’t even try. This is so typical. Is he playing dumb or do you think he’s not playing? I gave him a lesson and even asked him if he had a digital camera to which he said yes. You should be able to do this so go try. He passed it onto someone else. But hey this is the same person that doesn’t seem to know what year it is. 2004 and 2008 are not the same thing. Is he just being lazy or could he be this dumb?
He's getting on my nerves as you can tell I'm sure. He can never answer any question I ask him even if it involves something he's doing or has done. He's 50+. I'm dumbfounded.
But it's part of his job. He asked someone that is really busy to do it when he is not busy and again it's part of his responsibility. He should have just had me do it. But I think it's ridiculous that a grown man acts like such a child. Sometimes you have to do what you don't really want to do. Thank you.

Has any one every heard of this camera thing is a good thing for a teen to use
I have camera but it broke we bought if off of ebay it was only used like 2 times cut it broke so now I wont to bye myself a new one Im 13 and will use it to take pics with friends and stuff like that
so if this isnt a good camera them what is cheaper but still pretty nice

My sony mini dv is not compatible with Vista (don’t yell at me) on my laptop. I would like to know if there is a video capture device that will capture from my mini dv and then transfer onto my laptop so I can edit the video?
Sony’s website offers no support.
Any helpful information is greatly appreciated. I have over 7 hrs of video to edit.

Ok, I think I know tha answer to this question but I juz wana make sure. If my memory chip from my camera is full and I was to go to Walgreens for instance….print out all tha pics and then get em’ transfered to a cd I no longer need tha pics on my memory chip do I? I can juz erase em’ and reuse my chip….rite???

I have a 3yr old camera and now all of a sudden it wont hold the rechargeable battery. I have tried regular batteries and also have bought 2 complete rechargeable battery kits and nothing works within 5 minutes of the camera being on it dies. Any suggestions I don’t want to buy a new camera.
