Digital Cable Box “Unatuhorized” Signal?

Just today, when we turned on the TV, the screen says:

“Attention: The EXPLORER settup box is Not Authorized”

It then said to call (800)222-5335, and nobody answered.

What could’ve happened? This didnlt happen any of the other days.

  1. Cycle the cable box, unplug the box from the electricity and the cable. Wait a few minutes and then plug the cable in,and then the electrical plug. The box should boot with your screen back to normal.

    If you still get the screen, than you will need to call your cable company and have the reset the signal..

    If you don’t have a cable company, than your box is unauthorized and thus you have our answer.
