Digital camera and no recite ?

( i bought the camera from sears, if that helps)

If you don’t have a receipt, there’s not proof of purchase. Even if they brought it up on the computer, they have no way of knowing that you bought it from them. There are no names in their computers. If you had a receipt, they could have scanned it. Perhaps you should give them a call though, and see what they have to say.

depends how long ago you bought it, and why you are returning it.
chances are they do have a record of it over the computer.
at a very extreme you *may* be able to use your bank statement/credit card statement as proof.
make sure you know what you paid with and when you bought it.
if warranty stuff is filled out, I doubt you can return it.
