Do digital notepads use real ink?

Posted on Sep 30, 2008 under Digital news and reports |

I don’t understand why you’d need paper, if they didn’t, but if they do, how do they work as a graphics tablet without the paper?

I'm talking about these.
Actually you can only used the supplied stylus, but that doesn't explain how, when connected to a computer, you can use it as a graphics tablet.

  1. What are you talking about??? Are you referring to the tablet PC that you can use a stylus to write on with? The only paper you need is for the printer. Find a brand that you like and look at the specification online.

You don’t need paper/ink. Paper/ink = analog. The stylus registers its movement on the tablet which is digitized. Software interprets the marks as letters. Graphical drawings can be printed or edited with the included Photoshop Elements software.
