Anyone know anything about it? Is it a good camera? Is it worth it to buy over the Canon Rebel XSi?
Thanks!

yeah, that was my view point (no pun intended) also. through the analog static one can still sorta hear what's going on. with that digital crap, total loss.

The screen on my digital camera broke so now when I turn it on, it turns white with a black blotch in the middle. I’ve already visited the website (Polariod.com) but it doesn’t mention any ways to ship it in to get it fixed. My warranty doesn’t cover this type of damage but is there any places I can take my digital camera in to get it fixed or buy a replacement screen? Thank You!
and my model # on polaroid.com is i631 if that helps.

I thought I have always understood how this is supposed to work. I’m trying to transfer tons of home videos from old VCR tapes onto my computer, so I’ve got my VCR hooked up to my digital camcorder with an S-Video cable and the appropriate RCA cables. I’ve double-checked all the settings on my camcorder for the video AND audio signals to pass through to my computer, etc. etc. but all I’m getting is sound. I’m getting no picture signal at all. it worked fine all the other times when I was transferring video from an analog camcorder through my digital camcorder onto my computer, but it’s not working when I use a VCR. what the hell am I doing wrong??
no. I'm using a Sony Digital 8 camcorder as the "pass-through" between the VCR and the computer. and it is impossible to connect the VCR to the camcorder via firewire. they are only connectable with RCA cables and S-video. can anyone else help?

I’m looking for a good digital camera that requires double Aa batteries because I dont like to have to charge a battery. The only real crieteria Im looking for is under 200 dollars, like i said the AA batteries, I want a quick reaction times, for example my old camera used to take a few seconds from when i hit the button till it took the picture I would like an instant reaction time, and also for it to work well in dark places even without a flash for example if i want to take a video in a room that doesnt have a lot of lighting I would like it to work.. Im looking at a nikon coolpix L18 8.0. Does anyone have this camera..does it work well? Or are there any other cameras you can recommend … thanks!
