If you are concerned with picture quality, then a $200 to $300 P&S may not be your first choice.
To get quality, you are looking at an entry level DSLR (the sensors are over 15 times larger than P&S cameras) … about $450 with lens on Amazon and other reputable Internet stores … just under $500 if you buy them at Ritz or other brick and mortar camera store
go to http://www.bestbuy.com…they have a great selection of 8-10 megapixel cameras that are in your price range…this is where I recently got mine…10 megapixel 5x optical zoom 4x digital zoom…nikkon, but they have lots of others
I suppose for now i will be satisfied with book-marking as well as adding your Rss to be able to my Google consideration. My partner and i look forward to fresh improvements and will talk about this particular blog with my own Fb class….
