In my graphic design class, we have worked with 24″ by 18″ canvas using traditional art methods. I want scan these works and alter them with Photoshop but have run into a problem. My home scanner would be great if it could scan papers larger than 8.5″ by 11″, but it does not.
What methods could I use to get these into a digital copy?

I want to salvage the screen, and “hook it up” to a tiny, linux-based computer, with the aim of creating my own digital picture frame. Is this feasible? How would I interface them together?

Okay so here’s the details guys…
Camera I’m going to buy tomorrow:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9208394
It’s a Nikon Coolpix S550 Black ~ 10 MP Digital Camera w/ 5x Optical Zoom & Face Detection
It has 52 MB internal memory and SD card slot but I want more memory for home videos so I wish to buy a new memory card to put in it. But I don’t know what’s compatible with this camera. I picked something out that I find priced reasonable (I’m on a budget.) Here it is:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=9714998
It’s a Lexar 4GB Platinum II 60x High-Speed SDHC Memory Card, Class 4
Can I use that memory card in that camera? I’m not too camera savvy. Please and thank you for your answers!

I need a camera that has good night vision, but not too expensive. I know there were some good sony’s a while ago, but I can’t remember what they were called. please help!
heh i'm filming a youtube movie, and I want a nice chase scene in the dark. It's supposed to be like some ordinary person is filming though, like clover field. And like 2 years ago there were these sony cameras that cost about $80 and had good night vision. my friend had one, and it broke when he dropped it down the stairs.

I have a sony cyber shot dsc-p73, its from 2004. i dropped it on the lens while the lens was extended, and now the lens will not retract. When i turn it off, it sounds like the lens is trying to retract, but it is jammed. one side of the extended lens is pushed in more than the other side. This is my teacher’s camera, and i desperately need help!
