looking for software to resize digital picture?

i want to resize my picture that i took in my digital camera to a passport size photo….so that i could print them at walgreens or somewhere…
is there any free software available on web, that allows me to crop the size of the digital picture to a passport port size…
am basically looking for a software that allows me to resize the image of a picture taken in a digital camera..
please suggest

Usually if you right click on your picture when you have it on the computer you can click edit and a program should pop up that allows you to crop it. It also depends on if your using a Mac or PC. I know that on PC I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

An easier way to resize picture would be by using Ms-Paint.
*Open a picture using Ms-paint.
*Click “CTRL+W”
*And Resize the picture in the way you want.
*Then go to ‘File’ and click on ‘Save as’ and choose a folder you want to save the picture to.
*Pictures saved from ms-paint are usually in Bitmap format. So, Before you hit the save button. Choose JPEG format for the picture on “Save type as”, and hit the save button.
