i want to get a digital camera???? what kind would work for me?
Posted on Nov 21, 2008 under Digital news and reports |ok, so i want to get a digital camera good for traveling, concerts, and general pictures, i had one but it was really cheap and the batteries would go dead in about 15 minutes. so im looking for a new one. i dont want to spend a WHOLE lot, i plan on buying it on ebay anyway. please help?????

cool pix — its the one from the ashton kutcher commercial. my school uses it for students when they need it for the newspaper and year book.. they work fast good, and not too expensive ! plus they come in tons of colors

I bought an Olympus a year or so ago. It is awesome and the support service is excellent. I recommend them highly.

zoom - important, but often overlooked. is 3x going to be enough? probably not.
megapixels won’t be as important, if it has enough zoom, it will have enough megapixels.

If you are looking for a point and shoot, Sony, Canon and Nikon all make great ones that can also work great to concerts. If you are looking for a DSLR you should consider the Canon XSi or the Nikon D80 both do amazing in low light and are under $700 especially if you get it on E-bay although I’d try to get it new with a warranty. Try http://www.bhphotovideo.com they have great deals. If you also go for the DSLR you will need lens I would recomment a zoom around the range of 28-200mm

I have sony digital camera 12 megapixel, its really good camera.
I have also Kodek 10 megapixel, which I bought from buy.com … it was pretty good price. Look for cameras in buy.com too, their price is lower than others.

Whatever camera you buy make sure it has a viewfinder. Just using the LCD screen exclusively will drain your batteries quicker than normal.

Don’t risk getting one on ebay and don’t waste your money. Get a brand new one for free from http://cameras.santasgiftsallyear.com thats what I did and it worked for me. Just sign up, chose a camera, complete a few offers then refer some friends and the camera will be sent to your door.
