is this too much for a digital camera?
Posted on Nov 24, 2008 under Digital news and reports |My friend has a digital camera that she wants me to buy off of her. she wants 40$ for it. its a kodak camera pink…and its been used. it has scratches on in and such but its not in bad condition. it doesnt have a memory card with it either. do you think that is a reasonable price for a camera??

btw, she paid 150$ for it…but they are on sale now for like around 100 bucks.

How old is it? What model is it? How much did it cost new? Have you tested it? Why doesn’t it come with at least a 1GB memory card?
You may just want to wait and buy a new one. They will be on sale next month and you will get a lot more bang for the buck if your friend’s camera is over two years old.

I think it is, most camera’s are bought from 80-300$$ ask her how much she bought it for if it’s in the 100’s then 40 is pretty good but if it’s less maybe like $35 but yeah $40 is a good price.

I would most DEFINITELY buy the camera. As long as you’re not bothered by the aesthetics (i.e., the scratches and such), that’s a great buy. You can get a very big memory card for as little as $15 these days, so don’t worry about that.
Also, Kodaks are known to be very reliable, and their picture quality is very crisp and stable. I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t buy this camera.
