Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi/400D?

I’m very familiar with Canon, and my friend has an XTi.
I’ve used it once. It’s her baby; no one’s allowed to touch.
It’s an amazing camera, and it’s everything that I want.
But, I want pros/cons, so I know what I’m doing.

Well the XTi is a 2006 camera. The newest in that series is the XSi (450D) which has superior features of course
I am appended links to reviews on DPReview which will allow you to compare thaose 2 or for that matter any of several hundred digital cameras.

i have an XTi and i have to say i absolutely love it.
its everything you could want in an entry level dslr and the only con’s i can think of is:
-06 model(but it doesn’t really matter since you save a few dollars)
-2 less MP, but MP don’t mean anything these days so you don’t really “need” those
-doesn’t have a digital live view like some of the newer dslr’s i’ve seen on the market lately
