help on buying a digital camera?

im not a professional photographer and DO NOT have alot of knowledge of photography besides aiming an taking a pic.

but i would like a camera that can take pics like a pro

but i am looking for a very nice camera that takes excellent pics and videos with high detail and quality. maybe with HD so i can take out the Memory card an display them on my LCD tv.

nice features is a plus of course.

im lookin for a price no more then 300. and not to big, looking for something that can fit in my pockets.

    kodak puts out a nice one- easy share dx4900 what i like is the 5 settings for the size megs for photos-smallest setting allows you send them by email easier-largest setting can be blown up to portiat size without distortions hope that helped

  3. I would suggest a Canon Point&Shoot – it is always the best buy, I have a few and they all make perfect pictures.

    I usually find the best deals at http://www.digitalcamerakingdom.com. They also have some buying guides for beginners, etc.

    And, I would say, there is no big magic in a camera - it is the photographer who makes pictures perfect ;) They also have some great books about photography at DigitalCameraKingdom.
