Hello,
I have a JVC DV Digital Camcorder - I’ve had it for over a year - but have only opened it and used it in the last couple of weeks. All has been going well - until suddenly all of the new recordings I’m making have a distortion in the audio. This happens on a brand new tape as well. All settings are the same as they were previously when there was no problem.
I am working on a training video and need this fixed like 30 minutes ago, as I do not have time to send this off to get it repaired or even order head cleaning kit (unless of course that is my only option).
My question is, this camera has only been used in the past two weeks to record perhaps 7 or 8 hours of video, and I can’t see how the heads could be so dirty so quickly. What could possibly be causing this audio issue? Is there anything I can do to try to clean something without having to go buy something and go through a time consuming ordeal to fix this issue? I called JVC and they said to try a head cleaning kit and if that didn’t work to send it off for repair. I just don’t have time for all that.
Has anyone experienced this and/or know anything to do to try to fix this situation quickly?
Thanks - I am desperate for a quick solution.

I’ve been wanting to buy a digital camera, but I don’t know which ones are good. I want one where the screen is really wide or big , and the zoom works good.

all there is starting in February? I don’t want to have to pay 25 extra dollars for digital boxes when every commercial they have says if we are already on cable there is nothing else I need to do to be digital ready. My question is Why do I need to buy more boxes to make all my tv’s digital?

I live in central IL, but would be willing to go to Chicago to get it done.

It’s weird, my scanner used to work and I think I used to have the HP Digital Imaging Monitor, but now it’s gone and my HP PCS 1510 won’t scan at all. I’m really bad at all of this stuff, can someone give me a link to where I can download it?
Thank you in advance!
