Question about my new digital camera?

Posted on Nov 02, 2008 under Digital news and reports | 1 Comment

This is the camera I got:

http://www.target.com/Sony-Cybershot-8-1MP-Digital-Camera/dp/B0012Y1TR6/sr=1-1/qid=1225071079/ref=sr_1_1/188-3998905-4923003?ie=UTF8&index=target&field-browse=1038598&rh=k%3Asony%20cybershot&page=1

it’s the same thing except mine is 7.2mp. I have the memory stick duo adaptor, and after I use that to upload pictures onto my computer.. all the pictures get deleted from the memory stick so I can’t see them on my camera anymore. I don’t want the pictures to get deleted. I have windows vista. Any help? Thanks

p.s. I had a camera before this too, and I didnt have the same problem.

If you could steal a Digital SLR, without consequence, which one would you steal, and why?

I’m totally bored!

Anyhoo, if it were me, i would steal a D3.
It’s extremely expensive. I would steal it because I always wanted to see how a Professional level camera would work in practice, and feel in your hands, Hehehe.

Western Digital GP or Samsung?

Posted on Nov 02, 2008 under Digital news and reports | 1 Comment

This is exclusive for philippine consumers only.
I am planning on buying a new hard disk but which is better?
I know that samsung is good but i want to know if the new WD green power is good as well.
I dont like seagate since my last seagate HD gave up after a year and a half. I dont care about the warranty, what i care about is the life span of the drive.

Do you guys prefer an analog or a digital speedometer on a motorcycle?

Posted on Nov 02, 2008 under Digital news and reports | 10 Comments

I by far prefer the analog type. It’s easier to read especially when you accelerate rapidly. I also like being able to see my current speed in relation to the lower speeds that I came from or may need to decelerate down to and higher speeds that I may be looking to accelerate to.

With that said, it’s annoying to me how digitals are taking over above a certain purchase price. I’d like a digital kind IF it was laid out like an analog one except of course no actual needle moving but instead an LCD “needle”. I’ve seen tachometers for cars look like that where, instead of having a needle, it shows an arrangement of LCD bars to indicate RPMs.
Oh, I just did a search for the 2009 Ninja 650r. It now has a digital speedometer, yikes! Damn it, I guess I'll go with the previous generation, if I end up buying one. The digital bar-style tachometer the '09 features could be nice, though. Does anybody agree with me that progress isn't always a good thing? All too often, change is done for change's sake, not because it actually brings a benefit.
Ok, to clarify, when I say "digital" I mean the numerical LCD type and by "analog" I mean the mechanical type that uses a needle. :)
