My old camera sadly broke. So for Christmas, I’m looking for a digital camera that can also video record and is in a format so that it can be put on Youtube (My old camera was not able to do this, for some reason :/ ) I thinking about a Canon camera, but I don’t know which kind. Any ideas and pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.
Preferably 10 mega-pixels but wouldn’t mind 8.

I was looking into the art Institute or FullSail but before i look more into it i was looking for some information about the digital media arts that both schools provide and i was wondering if in web or graphic design if you have to know how to draw or if its just good computer skills.
Which of these cameras is the best buy? They’re all on ebay, all digital, etc.

My eMachines T1840 is running two internal hard drives, one ATI radeon 9200 graphics card, one 24 bit Sound Blaster sound card, one unused wireless PCI card, two DDR 400 1GB memory sticks and a pentium 4 cpu running at 1.9935 Ghz. I have changed my existing PSU from 250 watts to 400 watts. My problem is this: For about two weeks after I switched to the 400 watts PSU, I have been hearing occasional clicking noises coming out of my hard drive D. But now for quite a while I do not hear the clicking noise anymore and my D drive is functioning properly as always. Does that mean that my D drive will not function properly in the future?
I’ve had my SLR Olympus digital camera for about 3 years and have taken thousands and thousands of pictures with it. It seems that the quality of my pics is not what it used to be.
Has my camera worn out from over-use or are there settings that can be adjusted to increase the picture quality?
Brooke - good point about the dust and dirt. I've been shooting 400-500 pics at every one of my two kids soccer games for the last few years. Though (I think) I've been careful, it's probably inevitable that I've allowed dust or dirt to get in over the years.
