  1. If it still works, wait another year. The technology is changing so fast, the new cameras available in late 2009 and 2010 will be worth the wait and you can either keep saving money so your budget is more like $800 or buy a second lens to us until then

    I agree with photoace. Save the money until you have enough to really upgrade. I can't see how $400 is going to buy much of an upgrade for you when talking about a camera body. Like he also said, you could put the money into a lens instead. You could get a good lens for that much if you get the right one. Just remember that all $400 lenses aren't necessarily worth it. Especially if they don't suit your needs.
