why can i receive digital tv signal someday but not other day?

i have a rf modulator, and waiting for a digital box, do i need the rf?

will i need the rf modulator anymore cause that seems like a lot of stuff to connect to my dvd recorder or will the digital box eliminate the need for the rf modulator, thanks for any info on this ,

why aren't my videos from my digital camera working?

I downloaded a video me and my friend made from my digital camera,
and i have done this before and it worked.
when i play the new video, it plays. but when i try to open it in windows movie maker, it has the file but when i try to play it and edit in that, it just shows as a black screen.
the file extension is .MOV
is this a wrong file name?
if so how should i make it work?

Okay, I want to buy my daughter a nice digital camera for Christmas. And when I mean nice I mean is stylish, sleek, good picture quality, rechargeable battery, just an up to date camera. Now price range however is $130.00 below. :/ Yeah…. Oh! And I don't want to buy it online, I want one that I can just walk in a store and pay for it and then walk right out. Thank you so much!

Im looking to replace my old 5mp digital camera its old and non brand name its done me well. But I want something slightly better the I dont want to shell out another $40 to replace the battery id rather have AA batteries. This is what i use it for taking pictures scenic outdoors and close up shots of my handmade jewelry. I have looked at reviews and went to 3 camera shops today.
