What are some good digital cameras?

Canon Powershot A570
I did a lot of research before I bought it. I love it.
It might be about $20 -30 more than you want to spend, so look for sales. The video in it has excellent sound.

I got the Sony Cybershot for christmas and it is a really great camera. the screen is really big and it takes clear cut pictures and has a great video feature. i think it is a little bit more than $120 ($140-200 depending on where you go) but still it is a great camera and you get your moneys worth.

i prefer cannon. but if u want cheap, i bought mine for 99 at walmart, its a cute little pink kodak, i've had it for a few months and i haven't had any issues with it. and it takes really great pictures.

idk any that cheap but i have a casio exilim and i LOVE it!
its a lot cheaper then when i bought it so your getting a good deal

I just got a Canon Powershot A470, and I love it. It only cost me $99 dollars, and I think it's a wonderful camera to start out with. If photography or filming becomes an avid hobby, you may want to upgrade to something a bit more professional, but the Powershot's quality is quite nice. 7.1 megapixels, 30 fps video with 640 x 480 resolution, and 3.4x zoom. It also doesn't have a time limit for video recordings (some cameras automatically stop at 3 minutes, but the Powershot will keep recording until the shutter button is pressed, provided there is enough memory card space).
There are many more features, but I guess I'll wrap it here. This is definitely a camera I would recommend.

Canon 450Ds is probably one of the best cameras to get for a beginner looking to take some good photos.
Canon has a huge range of lenses and accessories for low prices and easy to find second hand, User friendly, small and light.
I do prefer the Olympus E500 (Which i use) which have huge quality images, good ISO and Shutter range, can shoot in RAW and has large quality viewing screen on bad. The quality of the lenses are pretty great to.
