What is the best Canon digital camera that has a macro setting?
Posted on Jan 25, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I am getting into photography and my camera is awful. The only thing I like about it is the digital macro for close up details. I have been looking online for a new Canon powershot, but most of them don't have that setting. I really need it, because most of the pics I take are close ups. I am only 16 so I'm not going to spend thousands on a professional camera. Please let me know what you think is the best for what I'm looking for. Thanks!

Actually most of them do have that setting! It's just buried in the specs!
Check out the source link below, click on any of the cameras, then click on specs, you'll see macro focal lengths, in the third box down under "Lens", and most also note it down abit further under "Shooting Specifications" also.
Oh and don't pay any attention to that other answer! They don't even make a 1D, anymore! (1Ds Mark III and 1D Mark III, but both are thousands of dollars)
