i need to connect a digital optical cable from my tv to my surround, does anyone know what the port would be labeled in back of the tv?

One the USB devices has malfunctioned, windows does not recognize, western digital external HDD help please!?

My Western digital mybook has been working fine until one time i plugged it in and it said one of the usb devices has malfunctioned.

I have checked device manager, it says it is an unknown device.

I have tried:

-uninstalling in device manager and plugging back in, same message comes up.

- uninstalling then restarting PC, for a few seconds it says it is working, but it is not in my computer, before the same message appears again.

It says a driver is required but it is plug and play, there are no drivers required.

Please help, if you need more detail I'll add it straightaway so check back and edit your answer if you could.

How do you use a memory card for digital cameras?

I just got a new digital camera and a memory card for it. There are pics on the memory card but I'm having trouble uploading them to the computer. The PC has a memory card slot but when I insert the memory card the only thing that happens is a little green light appears, obviously telling me that the slot is occupied. Will someone please tell me how to get my pictures off of the memory card?

Using a digital audio cable for surround sound system?

I bought a panasonic surround sound system with my christmas money this weekend had a question about using the digital cables. Right now i have it hooked up to my tv using the basic audio cable (red and white) going from the tv to the receiver, and use the AUX input on the on the receiver to get it to work. If i hook up the digital cable to the out source on the back of the tv to the digital in on the receiver will it work? Its an HD tv but i don't have hd cable so i didn't know if it would work without a hd signal or what

Can't get channel 47 in ny after digital convert box installation.?

My mother receives channel 41 and 47 (spanish stations) here in NY over analog antenna. In preparation for the digital cutoff I installed a digital converter box. Now she gets every channel she had before except channel 47–can anyone help?

How do you send video clips from a digital camera?

When I try to attach them in an email it says they are too large. How do I shrink them or make them smaller?
I know it can be done because all those crazy videos people put on YouTube. I just don't know how to do it. Yes, I know, I'm a computer dummy.

I have a sandisk 8GB mp3 player, I have the digital copy of the dark knight and I want to make it viewable on my mp3 player. I've already put in the authorization code and saved it to my videos on my computer's hard-drive. But from there I'm at a loss. How do I get the proper type of video onto my mp3 player? (dragging and dropping/copying and pasting, doesn't work ><)
