Hi there. I just got a green Casio Exilim digital camera (green) for Christmas. For a while it worked great, but then when I tried to zoom in, the zoom would get stuck and it just kept zooming in until it reached the maximum. It looks like the zoom is getting caught on something but I can't imagine what. I really don't know what to do b/c it's too late for me to take it back to the store and the company said that I could send it in if "The zoom wasn't fuctioning at all." So if anyone knows how to help me i would really appreciate it.
please answer only if you KNOW (if you sell televisions or are in the television business of some sort). I'm wondering if we should expect a huge "blowout" sale, for FLAT SCREEN televisions, during the switch? (I don't care how cheap the analogs go, I want a new flat screen) I'm keeping track of current sales and comparing to others and occasionally see a really good deal but should I hold off expecting them to get really cheap?

well i was a best buy last night and the lady was so dumb she couldn't tell me which camera was best i kept on asking her but she was like "well im not sure" she had me so confused then she said "just pay for a 300 dollar one and it should work" im thinking to myself like ummm no so do anyone have any suggestions

I know the answer to this, but want to show this to my Mother. She was told by people at work, if you have cable, you wont need a converter box for the Digital reception coming in feb. I tried to tell her that her old TV will not be able to transmit the digital signal to her TV. She needs a HI-Def TV. And that the cable is needed to pickup all the digital signals and the TV antennas won't be able to do that. Im I correct?
I saw a story on my local news station, and they showed it, but didn't give the link. My searches have found nothing. It was a site with a drop down with various models/types and you could see if your set needed the converter box or not.
