Why is it mandatory to switch to digital television?
Posted on Feb 24, 2009 under Digital news and reports |Alright some people are saying it is because the government wants to control us. Some of them are really paranoid saying that there are little cameras inside the new converter boxes. On a scale of 1-10 how crazy are these people? 1 being completely normal and 10 being Mel Gibson on crack.
I also heard that Verizon and AT&T paid billions of dollars for the signal so they could incorporate it into cell phones.

going digital is much cheaper to operate than analog. Also, quality is much better. Thats the reason for the switch. Cell phone companies did this several years ago.
