Do I still need an aerial with digital tv?
Posted on Feb 27, 2009 under Digital news and reports |If I got a tv with a built-in digital tuner would I still need a roof/portable aerial to receive the signal? I think I still do, but I really don't know.

Yes. It is no different than analog TV in this way.

Unless you have cable or satellite, yes, you will need an antenna.
And depending on how far you are from the signals and any interferences will depend on what antenna you need to get, though outdoor antennas are the best for good quality reception.
