I am one of those many people who find that an LP sounds much "warmer" than a CD. I'm not sure how to describe it, but it feels less sterile and fills the room better.
What actually causes this? I mean this more at a technical level … are certain frequencies emphasized more in analog? Is it that the LP can't reproduce the highs properly, and that's what makes it sound better to me?
Put another way: suppose I have a digital track from a CD, and wanted to make it sound more LP-like. What kinds of tweaks would have to be done to it?
As an aside, I find that my CD copy of "Back in Black" (AC/DC) has a lot of the same warmth that an LP has … it's one of my favorite things to listen to because it sounds so good. I wonder if it's the same answer, that whatever's happening in an LP is also happening in that disc.

Does anyone else feel like they are being taken by the cable and cell phone companies as I do?? I'm trying to make sense out of what is happening to television and I get a notice from Qwest that I need to set up a service call because they are upgrading my neighborhood and my cable package will no longer be available. I never had any say in this. I signed up for a "Price for Life" promo for my internet service but now I find that it's no longer going to be available so now they can charge me more than my guaranteed "Price for Life". Not to mention HD TV and DVR's Did anyone have a say in any of this confusing technology???

On satellite TV, (Dish Network/DirecTV) the signal was digital but yet the networks claimed that they were in an analog signal.
I remembered that since satellite TV started to deliver local channels (back in early 2006.) I can remember as early as that when local channels were digital, and always have been. How did satellite get digital signals as early as 2006 when local stations claim that they've been ALWAYS sending signals in digital until the conversion?
Thank you and God bless!

ok, so my new camera is only allowing me a small amount of seconds to record a video, which sucks.
i've deleted all of the pictures and videos out of it, and all i have is 26 seconds on it. is there anything else i can do, because i feel like it shoul have way more than 26 seonds to record. its a good camera!

Like a big chunky one with a strap or something.

The ones that professionals use.
Name some and sites to find them.
