How do you download videos from a digital video camera to a USB memory stick? Easy 10 points!!?

Okay, so i have this project due, and my group and i decided to make a movie. it is due tomorrow, and i can't figure out how to get the 2 movie clips we need onto a USB stick. this is the only medium my teacher will accept. The type of camera I have is a mpg4 movie dxg digital video camera that is a few years old. The type of memory card is a SanDisk 2.0GB. I also lost the cord to my camera that connects it to the computer, but if i search for a while, i am sure I can find it if it is absolutely necessary. Also, when ever i "download" it onto the computer through the printer (don't ask how, i just did it and it "seemed" to work), the movie shows up blank. If i don't get this done tonight, I will get an F, and this project is worth 1/3 of my grade! HELP ME!!! Thank you in advance!
my laptop doesn't have a spot for the memory card. what should i do?

I now have a Canon, but it's all beat up and is getting a bit slow. What are the good brands for digital cameras?

What's the purpose of the Flip Video… if you already have a digital camera?

Posted on Mar 31, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 20 Comments

The Flip Video (2 GB version) says it has a 2x zoom. Can it zoom in while taking video?

How is a Flip Video camera better than a standard digital camera (that takes video)? The resolution seems to be the same..

Does anyone have any experience with the Flip Camera?

Why or why did you not get a Flip Video, in addition to your digital camera?

Connecting my camera to my PC (Fuji Film FinePix J10 8-Megapixel Digital Camera - Black)?

My Fuji Film FinePix J10 8-Megapixel Digital Camera - Black is connecting to my computer strangely. I have installed the finepix program and I plug in my camera. Booklets say it should automatically should detect the camera, but nothing happens.

If you take out the battery, dunk a digital camera in water, & let it dry COMPLETELY, will it still function?

want to know if a camera, or cell phone, or anything would work if it was submerged WITHOUT a power source and then let dry before using it again…
A friend got sand in the camera, and I thought maybe, if you take the battery out, rinsing with water would help…

Is this a good reliable, easy to use digital camera?

If so what features does it have?
My friends willing to sell me one for 80 dollars, is that a good deal?

non-digital professional video cameras?

Posted on Mar 31, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 17 Comments

Can anyone tell me a list of good quality non-digital professional video cameras (from the 80s, early 90s)?
I don't like the newer digital videocameras, they're way too crisp and flawless.
I prefer the old film look. like 80s, early 90s look. Can someone help me out?
thanks

What is the biggest sd card that you can buy for the hp 10.4 digital photo frame and have it work?

Posted on Mar 31, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 23 Comments

I tried looking for the information about the sd cards and it says nothing about how big of a card you can buy. I called hp and also sent them an e-mail and when I talked on the phone the lady said that a 8gb card will work and even a 16gb will also work, but I received a response in the e-mail and the e-mail says that the frame will only support up to 2 gb sd card. Does anyone have this frame and do they have a 2 gb card or a bigger card? I wan't to buy a card for mine, but not sure which one to buy since I got two different answers. I would like to get a big one so I can fit a lot on the card. Thanks.
