I am connecting my laptop to my digital TV with video and audio. So why should I buy a program to watch TV?
Posted on Mar 30, 2009 under Digital news and reports |Most of the shows that I watch are available on the networks website and then there is hula. I watch the shows on my laptop all the time. Since I am using the proper video and audio connections why would I need the software? Financially I am having to cut everything I can and I'm thinking this would be a good alternative to satellite. Is there something I should know or are they just trying to make money?

You don't need to buy a program to watch TV on your computer.
Hulu uses your web browser and Flash.
Some services will have their own player for free if you subscribe to their pay service.
There is no legal good alternative to satellite online. The nearest is services like Hulu and pay services like Netflix, Amazon, and iTunes.
