Do movie theaters nowadays use some kind of digital format movie projection or is it still on film reels?

i feel stupid asking this question
Where do you see the difference between something like 10MP and 6MP? Only if you are making the photo bigger?? I am looking to buy a good digital camera. Somebody suggested the Nikon D40. It is only 6MP whereas I have one that is 9MP. I just wanted to know what I would be losing by buying a cam with a lower MP. I am attempting to learn about photography and would like to buy a good digital cam with a good depth of field. What other features would be good to look for?
My casio exilim digital camera is making really weird noices. It seems like the shutter keeps getting stuck. I have tried to charge the battery, but thats not it. Do you think plugging it in to a computer and try loading picture on would work? I have no pictures on it because i cant take any. The camera turns on; then makes weird julty noices, and then gets stuck and turns off.
so that I can live chat using Yahoo messenger and such?
Hi, I bought a JVC Digital Video Camera Model Number GR-D770U, off of craigslist and it didnt come with instuctions, so I was wondering how I record, and how do I review? It has teh memory card, its set up to do it just dont know how. Thank you.
I am in a media class and had been using a digital codec converter box that allowed me to plug in the traditional red/yellow/white video cords from any device on one side, and have it play into the computer through a firewire.
It recently broke so I'm looking to replace it.
I first thought of getting another converter box such as this:
http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=Canopus+ADVC+110&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=3450769332568890678&ei=6YvCScy8HYjBnQeczICiCg&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&resnum=4&ct=result#ps-sellers
…but, now I want to get a new camcorder that includes this functionality. I must be able to plug in the yellow/red/white AV cords from a DVD or VHS player, and have the video transport into a Mac computer / iMovie software through a firewire cord.
This is NOT for PCs or for USB cords.
Are there camcorders that can facilitate this conversion? Which are the best? Thanks.
here's a link to what it looks like
