How do you take videos from a digital camera and put them on your computer?
Posted on Apr 20, 2009 under Digital news and reports |I have been wanting to put videos on youtube.com but the videos on my camera won't show up on the computer only my picture. I put the memory card in the printer and it only had my pictures. What am I doing wrong?

Videos don't print so the printer won't recognize those files.
Digital still cameras that happen to take highly compressed video: Take the card out of the camera, put it ina card reader connected to your computer. You may need to convert the video with something like StreamClip or HandBrake before you can upload that video. YouTube can accept only certain file types. The accpetable ones are listed at the YouTube Help/FAQ area.

Use the free video editor from StashSpace.Com. It makes it easy to add video from your digital camera. They support lots of file types, it's easy to use, and has excellent customer service.

sometimes the videos might be too long and they wont upload to your computer
