How do i get rid of the lines when i get ready to take a picture on my digital camera?

Those are probably grid lines to help you with learning the rule of thirds. To get rid of them press the 'display' button. I use a Canon so I'm not too sure if it's the same on a Fujifim camera.
Also, reading the manual helps.

If you mean the captured image itself has lines on it then there is probably a problem with either the sensor or the software causing pixel glitches.
If it is just on the display but not the finished image and looks like a tic tac toe board then that is a rule of thirds compositional tool that can probably be turned off under the menu settings. However, it can be very useful to you in composing images.
