converting my Digital Camcorder to a Web Cam?

Model # SC-DX103. What software do i need? Im running XP and have the USB cord for the camera. When i plug it into the PC, a little webcam icon pops up in the top left of the viewing screen (on the Camera). But ive not been able to find it on my PC. Any help would be great. Thanks!
currently when i plug the camcorder into the computer a webacam image pops up in the uphand left side of the screen on the camera. Its reconissed as a webcam on skype, but i get no picture it just says a bunch of words… firewire… its a demo… what can i do to get a picture?

    Okay make sure the camera is set to webcam mode( it should say pc or something, by the settings like playback mode or record mode). turn it off, restart pc. Plug it in, turn on the camera, look for it in my computer. If it doesn't work now it might be a driver issue, search for sc-dx103 pc driver or something like that. Also make sure the camera can actually be used as a webcam.

    • To use the PC Cam function, the DV Driver, Video Codec and DirectX 9.0 programs
    must be installed in the PC.
    • You can use this DVD camcorder as a PC camera.
    • When you connect to a Web site that provides video chatting functions, you can use
    your DVD camcorder for such functions.
    • When using this DVD camcorder for video conferencing (such as NetMeeting), voice communication may not be
    supported depending on the video conferencing software. In this case, connect an external microphone to the
    soundcard of the PC to enable voice communication.
    • Using the DVD camcorder with PC Net-meeting program installed, you can participate in a video conference.
    • The PC camera’s screen size (Transferred video frame rate for the PC camera function is max 12.5 fps.)
    - 640X480(VGA) pixels for USB 2.0 connection.
    • If PC is connected to the DVD camcorder with a USB cable, only the POWER switch and Zoom lever can be operated.
    • Run a video chatting application such as Windows Messenger and enjoy the video utilization.
    • Various applications take advantage of the PC Cam function. Refer to respective product documentation for further
    details.

    2. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB jack on the DVD camcorder and the other end to the USB
    connector on your computer.
