Well, I have a habit of just staring at my drawings after finishing (my latest one took two hours to draw…Wow I really do need something else to do other then undoing and redoing it over and over…) and really feeling 'Wow! How did I draw that?' Then later I open up the file, after saving as a JPEG to see that the quality isn't great anymore. :(! It still has all the details but some of the pixels are off. >_<) So then I usually get sad, because I worked so long on it…That is one of the problems about drawing on the computer, you can never trust it.
Anyways, is there anything I can do to stop it from losing quality? Or is there another file type that I could save as? I wish I turned in the freshman classes paper earlier so I could of gotten graphics design instead of photography… >_<
Well, I use Open Canvas 1.1…
When I save as a open canvas file, the quality stays the same but it only works in the program…
Maybe it has a save-as bitmap option too.

ntsc zr200 series camcorder about three years old. Has a usb connection but when I plug it in my vista computer, it does not detect it. The camcorder works but I think its outdated, any program I could download to help or do I have to burn some DVDs to get the footage off the tapes.

I have a cannon powershot right now and its about four years old and it's just kinda out dated so am looking to buy a new camera but I'm not sure which one to get.
I am not a photographer or anything, but I have three kids and I take pictures of them almost daily. I have a hard time capturing action shots on the camera I have now, so that's definitely a must on the new camera. Durability is important as well. I would also prefer something that is a reasonable size and not too bulky.
My sister in law has a camera that is waterproof, which would also be a good quality, but I'm not sure what kind it is or if it's a good camera.
Any help would be great! thanks so much

I'm making a short film and want a good quality finished product. I'm looking now, any suggestions? I'm hiring a DP but want to edit myself.

I am planning on buying Gears of War for the PC (slow I know) and I found out that early this year there was a digital certificate issue in which players could not play their game until a patch was released to fix it. I was wondering if I buy the game now will I have the same issue and have to download the patch?
