Looking to buy a Cute Digital Camera?

Yes, I did flip through questions before this, I just wanted to ask my own, because most of the ones suggested were the ones I didn't really like.
Like the others, I don't really know anything about cameras, but there are still things I'm looking for:

Budget: Less than $400 (I guess since it's my money, I can go a bit over, but note: I'm still in high school, and I'm a beginner)

And of course, I want the best camera for the best price. I also want a cute, compact camera, one that looks like this:

I don't really like the big black, big lens cameras, but if someone can persuade me that even though they aren't as fashionable, they are much better; I may consider it.
Just reading through some of the comments, I realized that the one in the link has a short battery life? which my old camera had a problem with, and it was such a hassle, I hardly ended up using it.

So looking for: Decent Battery Life, Decent Picture Quality (for it's price)

Any suggestions? I'm really excited

I never bought one before so i want to know which brand i should be looking for. it has to be less than $130 that takes good or great quality pics with picture stabilization and ability to take videos it will also be cool if it had different modes for taking pictures.

I'm starting up my small business for post-production and am wondering if I should purchase a digital audio mixer. Would it help me to get better sound quality, or is Adobe Soundbooth (the sound software I have) good enough for what I need?
