I am looking for a Digital SLR camera that takes excellent pictures but costs not so much.?

Ok so im 16, i currently own a sony dsc-t20 camera i Love it. It takes perfect pictures and everything its great for when you just need a camera. But i want to take pictures further and i have around $300 that my parents are giving me for it. So i don't have money so that's i guess my budget. The reason why i want a DSLR is because i love the way the quality is, and it screams Professional when you use one.
I also need high zoom. Does anyone know of a brand new camera i can go with? As long as its High Zoom and takes DSLR quality i'm open for suggestions.
I do not plan to pursue this as my career simply as a hobby. Im already going fourth with my career as a pilot, it is my second year in pilot school.

Me and my familly are traveling to the florida keys for a vacation and i am trying to find a waterproof case for my md863 kodak camera i have looked but the only ones i can find are all over $100 and i dont want to spend that much. area thair any cases that are at least $20 $30 that can stand up to salt water. or am i stuck with getting a wal-mart camera with horrible quality can anyone help

Hiya!! I'm looking for a nice digital camera that's not too terribly priced. I have just over $120 to spend.

I need something:
-stylish
-compact
-not too difficult to use
-takes nice clear pictures
-has a rechargeable battery (preferred, not a must)

I'm 14 and want something that fits my lifestyle. I love photography and take pictures randomly and quite often. I don't want to take expert photos, I just want a nice LCD. It should preferably be stylish and portable.

My digital audio recorder creates only wma files when I download its content to my pc. I wanna open these files in Cooledit, but can't seem to get the file type requirement right. I tried saving the wma file as a wav, which is supposed to be ok for both app's, but when I opened it in Cooledit, it's nothing but loud hiss. Thanks in advance.

using digital cable box to use tv as secondary monitor?

okay, my old tv had s-video outlet so i was able to use it as secondary monitor with no probs. but now i have a tv with no svideo outlet, so im trying to use my digital cable box (its a silver rogers cable box that says explorer 8300hd on it) and its made by scientific atlanta. it has an s video outlet so i try to connect computer to it and computer is detecting a generic tv now which seems liek a good sign, but i am still not getting the tv as a monitor, can u use dig cable boxes for this at all? or am i in the wrong video mode? or what would be he problem? i tried pushing video source but it only has auxillary and still i see nothing when on that mode, i dont se a way to get to the box's s-video output or whatever can someone help me? thanks for any answers and if u think u can help add me to msn or yahoo mess. underground_tactics_87@yahoo OR hotmail.com

Logitech Z-5500 6ch direct is 3 colors cable . And how about COAX and OPTICAL is this two sound quity is better than the 6 ch direct front rear center ? and If I connect the optical so did I need to connect the COAX at the same time ?
