How much would it cost to replace a screen on a digital camera?

The screen is cracked and the display underneath is damaged. How much would it cost to repair this on a pentax optio?
Oh and I really didn't put this question up for someone to just say "It's not worth it." I think it's worth it, I would rather like to be able to take accurate photos. If you're going to answer, you might as well do it properly.

Best digital camera for traveling?

Hi~

I will be leaving on a long trip very soon and am looking for a digital camera to bring with me. Here is what I am looking for:

Uses AA batteries
Does not require software to upload photos
8 megapixels or higher
Has the ability to manipulate ISO settings.

I'm not exactly a camera aficionado, and I'm not trying to take award-winning photos… just the typical type stuff. Any suggestions at all would be appreciated! Thanks!

Has anyone tried the KINDLE or any digital book type things?

If so, what do you think about it? I want one..but dang…they are just shy of $400 and the books online cost $10 and up. I can buy used books for less or go to the librarly..however..I really want to clear up my room…the books take up sooo much room..and I also don't have time to go to the library always.
