Digital Camera Memory Question….?
Posted on Apr 01, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 13 CommentsPLEASE help me out…..Cause I know this has happened to others before……..
So, I go out with the boys and get drunk and realize that I have "Lost my camera" only to find out, I left in the front seat…..So after a very heated debated with my wife, I'm looking for a solution to not lose the "Precious Moments"………
I'm looking for real and honest suggestions, and not the typical one word response for points…..
From what I gather, I have 2 options:
1-Download my entire memory card to my computer and delete the physical memory card (rinse and repeat)…….BUT what happens if my computer crashes…..
2-Fill up my memory card and buy a new one, and catalog each one for whatever it contains…….
Just looking for the most effective way (In this digital era) to protect my images…….

Best Digital SLR Camera for a beginner?
Posted on Apr 01, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 17 CommentsI've always loved photography and have used a Canon Rebel (film) camera before, but am just now beginning to truly study it in depth and understand more about this art. What would be a good (and hopefully relatively cheap) digital slr camera to start off with?
Thanks in advance :]
What digital camera would get images of this quality?
Posted on Apr 01, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 20 CommentsI recently got sand in my Panasonic DMC-FZ5, so now need a new camera. I'm getting ready to start an etsy shop, and I need GREAT pictures. The main things I'm concerned about are a really good macro setting, and the ability to capture natural lighting well, like these http://simplystated.realsimple.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/03/05/etsy2realsimple_2.jpg Can I get away with a cheap PowerShot, or is it worth spending £250 for a Nikon D40?
fhotoace, exactly what does the sensor do? I mean, clearly, it 'senses' things, but how much of a difference does the size of it make? Thanks!
Can someone give me a digital copy of the song Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger?
Posted on Apr 01, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 39 CommentsI can't find the real song on iTunes and I don't want to download limewire so if someone has the song it would be great if they could send me the file someway. THANKS
Also, I don't want to have to sign up for anything. It would be great if someone could just email it to me or something.
Digital Camera Settings - How do I make my pics look more professional?
Posted on Apr 01, 2009 under Digital news and reports | 19 CommentsSo I have a camera with a ton of settings, that I have no clue what they do. What I want to figure out is how to make the background look out of focus while the main subject is in focus. Is there a certain setting I need to put it on for that?? My camera is one of the professional type ones, not just a normal thin camera.
